Mrs. Morgan-Phillips is from Anderson, South Carolina. She graduated with a BS degree from Clemson University and MA degree from Furman University. She taught math for 28 years in SC before retiring and then  came to Hart County High School. She has two daughters, Morgan and Sydney. She is also married to Herb Phillips, who is a teacher at Anderson Five Charter School.
